The woman
behind Rise.
I’m Andie, a photographer, a mom of three, and a woman
who understands how easy it is to spend years taking
care of everyone else while slowly placing yourself
farther and farther down your own list.
After more than 15 years photographing women, I have
learned that most of us are not waiting because we do
not want photographs. We are waiting for the right
weight, the right season, more confidence, more time,
or a version of ourselves we think will finally be
worthy of being documented.
I created Rise because I do not want you to wait
for her.
I want you to see the woman who is already here.
The one who has built a life, raised people, survived
hard seasons, changed, grown, sacrificed, laughed,
loved and kept going.
Yes, I want to give you beautiful photographs. But my
hope for Rise is much bigger than a few beautiful hours
in front of my camera. I want this experience to become
a beginning.
A reason to choose yourself a little more often. To take
care of yourself without guilt. To wear the thing you
have been saving. To be in the photograph instead of
always standing behind the camera. To look at yourself
with a little more kindness.

Your privacy matters. Your photographs are never shared publicly without your permission and an appropriate model release.
